Which role is best for me in the Banking Industry?
That’s the question which pops into every individual’s mind who starts out their career in this industry.
Banking is very complex and governed by a lot of compliance and laws. Contains highly sensitive information. Unless or until you work in the industry, you won’t be able to understand that much.
The simple answer is What’s their Product? Or their Solution to a Problem.
The closer you stay to the product, the more insight you will get on the industry and its working.
If not that, then pick a role and try to understand why that role existed in the first place.
Most importantly, banking is not a money business, its People business. Desires, hopes, expectations, and ambitions are the driving forces of human society.
If someone asks you about your identity, what would your answer be? You will immediately realize that your desires & ambitions define your life.
Furthermore, If a Banking Institute hire some Executive or Top Level Management from outside, first thing that person do is understand the product.
